STEMtacular, powered by Analog Devices, returns for its second year—bringing innovation, hands-on learning, and industry engagement to the next generation of Engineers and Scientists. This highly anticipated event will take place on February 27th, 2025, welcoming over 500 primary school students from Leitrim, Roscommon, Sligo, Longford, Cavan, Fermanagh, and Mayo to showcase their creativity and curiosity in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

This year, Analog Devices joins STEMtacular as the title sponsor, strengthening the event’s mission to nurture future talent in STEM fields.

Meabh Shine, Senior Director, Multi-Market Power, Analog Devices, said:

“At Analog Devices, we have a proud legacy of innovation and education here in Ireland, with our teams in Cork, Dublin, and Limerick working on next-generation technologies that make a real difference in people’s lives. We are deeply committed to supporting STEM education at all levels, and STEMtacular is a perfect example of how we can help ignite a passion for discovery in young learners. STEM skills are essential for the future—not just for careers in engineering and science, but for problem-solving, creativity, and innovation in every aspect of life. That’s why we are delighted to sponsor STEMtacular and inspire the next generation of innovators.”

Louise Gallagher, STEMtacular’s Founder and a Science Teacher from Leitrim, said:

“We are delighted to welcome Analog Devices as this year’s title sponsor. Their support is instrumental in expanding STEMtacular’s reach and impact, inspiring young minds to explore the possibilities of science and technology.”

By hosting STEMtacular, we aim to inspire the West’s future workforce. By introducing students to careers that may not yet exist in the region, we open their eyes to new opportunities and what’s possible,” she continued.

STEMtacular provides a platform for students to exhibit and communicate their own scientific discoveries as well as engage with cutting-edge technology and explore real-world applications of STEM. This year’s Discovery Zone contains representatives from a diverse range of industries and organisations. Highlights include: Analog Devices, AbbVie, FutureCast, Met Éireann, VistaMilk, The Marble Arch Caves and many more!

The day will culminate in a celebratory Awards Ceremony, recognising the creativity, innovation, and achievements of these young future leaders in STEM.
