Analog Devices (ADI) has donated €130,000 to 39 educational, charitable, and cultural organisations through its Annual Community Awards and Charitable Donations Programme. This significant contribution is set to benefit thousands of individuals and communities across Munster and Dublin, reinforcing ADI’s commitment to improving people’s lives.
Spanning six counties – Limerick, Cork, Clare, Tipperary, Kerry, and Dublin – the donations were distributed in Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze categories to support local charities, community organisations, schools, and sporting clubs.
As a long-standing partner of ADI, Milford Care Centre received the Platinum donation of €20,000, enabling the centre to continue its vital palliative care services.
Gold donations of €10,000 each were allocated to CARI (Children at Risk in Ireland), ADAPT Domestic Abuse Services, and Down Syndrome Ireland – Field of Dreams, supporting their critical work in child protection, domestic abuse support, and disability services.
Silver awards of €4,000 were presented to Critical Emergency Medical Response, the Dillon Quirke Foundation, Clare Crusaders, Dogs for the Disabled, and Shine A Light Suicide and Mental Health Awareness, ensuring the continuation of their life-changing services.
Meanwhile, 30 Bronze awards of €2,000 each were distributed among schools, sporting clubs, and social enterprises, enabling them to enhance their activities and community outreach.
Employees from ADI’s Limerick, Cork, and Dublin sites played a key role in the process by nominating organisations close to their hearts. A total of 235 nominations were received, reflecting the strong community spirit within the company.
Speaking at the special presentation ceremony, Meabh Shine, Senior Director, Multi Market Power at ADI, said:“Our Annual Community Awards Programme reflects our core values of giving back to the communities where we live and work and driving positive change. We are proud to support these incredible organisations that are making a real difference in people’s lives.”
Joe Barry, Vice President of Marketing, Systems & Technology in the Communications & Cloud Business Unit at ADI, added: “It’s inspiring to see the direct impact of these donations, from supporting local schools and sports clubs to empowering charities that provide vital services. This programme allows us to celebrate and support the incredible work happening in our communities.”
